October 2013: Bones

Science, Neat Bones

bones

Science, Neat was happy to be a part of the amazing Bay Area Science Festival!
Keeping with the holiday spirit, October’s theme was Bones, and featured animal skulls from UCSF, blue whale fin bones with Mission Science Workshop, bone prep with live flesh eating beetles with the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, and your favorite, baculum, thanks to the California Academy of Sciences.

Talks by science educator Dan Sudran from Mission Science Workshop and forensic artist Gloria Nusse.

It was an awesome evening, no bones about it.

What do people have to say? Check out the Facebook event.
